Weave!”s debut breathes new life into the sound of groups like ESG, The Slits, The Mo-Dettes, Kleenex, The Raincoats, and Delta 5. The arty grinders have a respectable pedigree; Weave!”s founders, Ivory Lee Carlson (bass, vocals) and Nicole Turley (drums, vocals), spent 2007 with pickup members from around their native Los Angeles.
