New album from the exceptional Texas-based singer/songwriter Vincent Neil Emerson. His self-titled record, produced by the legendary singer/songwriting trailblazer Rodney Crowell. While Vincent”s 2019 debut album Fried Chicken & Evil Women was a honky tonkin” Texas swing full band affair, this album is largely written and recorded in the Texas songwriting tradition of artists such as Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, Guy Clark, and Willie Nelson. Vincent”s ability to spin great stories while simultaneously breaking and mending your heart with his vocals and guitar playing is on full display here. You may already know Vincent from his collaborations and frequent touring with Colter Wall and Charley Crockett.
