VERDEN ALLEN is best known for his keyboard playing with one of rock music”s most influential groups – MOTT THE HOOPLE – but this collection of solo tracks, including a previously unreleased recording by The Cheeks, his first post-Mott band and precursor to the Pretenders, shows the breadth and diversity of Verden”s musical horizons, containing as it does, re-recorded and unreleased Mott material and contributions by Overend Watts, Dale Griffin, Kelvin Wilson, Martin Chambers and the late James Honeyman-Scott.
