With Schemen, the band has created an album that any black metal fan can appreciate since they offer a comfortable mixture of very angry blasting parts and more solemn-sounding slower passages. Because of this and said ideas to keep things fresh – every song has one or two and usually these make for the best moments of each track – things never get boring though this is an intense and demanding listen. This is a band with a serious potential to greatness.
