Stars” breakthrough sophomore album Heart was recorded in the bedroom of keyboard player Chris Seligman on Avenue Mont-Royal in Montreal and released in 2003. Aat the time pinned the band as more New Order and Saint Etienne than Smiths, and with male and female vocals, the band comes across as an electro-pop Belle & Sebastian.
