After years of being out of print, and on it”s 12 year anniversary, Canada”s post-hardcore veterans, Silverstein, is reissuing Rescue on limited edition vinyl. Originally released in 2011, Rescue, is a big piece of the band”s history, moving away from screamo/pop punk and moving into a solidly heavy, more traditional rock sound. Produced by Jordan Valeriote, the album features the fan favorite “”Sacrifice”” and collaborations with Anthony Raneri of Bayside and Brendan Murphy of ambitious song-writing and pushing the heavy aggression that would be harnessed in future releases, Rescue, has fueled the band into their modern sound, influencing a genre of their own making.
