Sentenced was a Finnish melodic death/gothic metal band formed in ”89 and broke up in 2005; started in 1988 as Deformity and changed their name to Sentenced in 1989, after a few line-up changes. “”The Cold White Light”” (2002) is a mixed of gothic and melodic death metal, with a very intense mood. They have been awarded Platinum in the band”s native Finland for their live DVD Buried Alive.
