2017 EP release from the Orange County-based ska-punk band. After fifteen years, Save Ferris make their return with Checkered Past. Lead by the inimitable front-woman Monique Powell, the band enjoyed mainstream success in the late ”90s with radio hits and appearances on a variety of television shows and movies including 10 Things I Hate About You. Produced by Oingo Boingo bassist John Avila, Checkered Past embraces Powell”s ska and dub roots and also features a guest appearance by Neville Staple of the Specials on the first single “”New Sound””.
