A BBC Radio Scotland Young Musician winner.
Originally from Nairn, near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, Ruairidh currently plays fiddle in the award winning âPaul McKenna Bandâ, as well as fronting âThe Rua Macmillan Bandâ. In 2009 he was awarded the prestigious title âBBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Yearâ and part of his prize was a debut solo album with Greentrax. Ruaridh is an exceptional talent amongst the many exceptional fiddlers in Scotland today.
