Rex Foster was a pioneer of the ”Austin, TX Sound” a/k/a ”Progressive Country” a/k/a ”Outlaw Country”. A folkie who came from a legendary Psychedelic group called Rachael”s Children” from San Antonio. Rex”s folk-country music was deeply rooted in his place of birth and childhood, the Texas Hill Country. HIs music was deep as the Pedernales River that flows through the souls of all Texans.
