MTV Unplugged is a live album by American grunge rock band Pearl Jam, originally released in November 2019 via Epic Records.
Three days after completing their first American tour, Pearl Jam headed to New York to strip back songs from debut album Ten, well on its way to becoming one of 1992”s top rock albums.
Originally recorded on 16 March 1992 for the MTV television series MTV Unplugged, it was finally released to the public on 23 October 2020.
Initially, it was given a limited release in November 2019 as part of Record Store Day on limited edition vinyl, it is the first time that the band”s MTV Unplugged performance has been released on both vinyl and compact disc.
Relive all seven songs featured in the MTV Unplugged broadcast, including ”Jeremy,” ”Even Flow,” ”Alive,” ”Black” and ”State Of Love and Trust.”
This album is a 2021 repressing on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve, pressed in Europe via Epic Records.
