”Full alert”, … that”s the musical direction of the new album ”Unleashed Bastards” of the Cult Thrashers NECRONOMICON, according to bandleader Freddy and adds ”it”s all there; from punk to old school metal, from speed to flawless thrash metal. A full board!”

And yes, NECRONOMICON are still here, better and fresher than ever. In 1986, the legendary debut album ”Necronomicon” was released; and took off in full force. After that followed ”Apocalyptic Nightmare” and the until then most famous album ”Escalation”, which brought the point thrashers the name ”Thrash Cult”.

Then followed the smash hit ”Screams”, the subsequent, again much praised 5th album ”Construction Of Evil”, which reached number 6 in the charts in Spain and ”Revenge Of The Beast”, which according to the press finally lifted NECRONOMICON out of the ”shadow of other thrash greats”.

After the praise-filled ”Invictus” and ”Pathfinder…. between heaven and hell” (voted one of the best metal albums in South America in 2015), ”Unleashed Bastards” is now waiting in the wings and we expect nothing but ”full alert”!
