Digitally re-mastered two CD set containing a pair of albums from the Jazz/Soul vocalist. For 1985 ”s Keep You Satisfied, Nancy reunited with Japanese producers Itoh and Satoh for sessions in Japan; the result was a Top 20 Jazz Album that included her take on the George Michael hit of the day, the now-classic ”Careless Whisper” and a striking cover of Marvin Gaye”s ”Just to Keep You Satisfied”. Working with the same producer and arranger, the follow-up album, 1986 ”s Forbidden Lover was recorded in Los Angeles; the title track – a soulful duet with singer Carl Anderson – received airplay at R&B stations in the U.S., giving Nancy her first best-selling album (#8 on Billboard”s Jazz charts). Other key cuts include a second duet with Anderson (”Too Good to Be True”) and a superlative version of Leon Russell”s ”A Song for You.”
