The Late Set is New York jazz pianist Marc Devine”s second album since his arrival in NYC. Step into one of NYC”s great jazz clubs and catch a set with pianist Marc Devine and his Trio. This live recording captures an energetic and swinging set of jazz standards and classics showcasing the trio including two members from the jazz great, Junior Mance Trio – Hide Tanaka on bass and Jackie Williams at the drums. Bluesy and inventive playing by the Marc Devine Trio make for an electrifying set of music performing live at the famous Mezzrow on ITI Records. Unfortunately, Jackie Williams passed away in 2022. This was his last live recording.
