This re-united supergroup of Americana pioneers still has the energy and musical prowess of the original band. RIP Commander Cody.

Reformed following the death of the Commander (George Frayne) Lost Planet Airmen of 2023 is one helluva band. The album”s opener ”Ain”t Nothin” Shakin”” kicks it off and holds your attention for the best part of three quarters of an hour before their campfire flickers out as they ti-yi-yippy ”On the Cowboy Trail.” This may be a reunion, but it”s also a supergroup just having too much fun.
