Vocal jazz in the style of Chet Baker
Lars Ekström is a great Swedish vocalist, slightly in the Chet Baker tradition, and bass player. On this album he is joined by the Icelandic drummer Petur ”Island” Ãstlund and the legendary Swedish piano player Esbjörn Svensson. Esbjörn died suddenly a few years ago in a diving accident at the height of his career so thereis too little now left of his brilliant playing on records.
