Western Culture was the 4th Henry Cow release, digitally re-mastered, with a booklet crammed with previously unpublished photographs and biographical material, and there are three extra tracks which have only appeared before on the ReR vinyl magazine. Because Western Culture was never released by Virgin, there are still many fans of the group who have never come across it. A very European fusion of avant garde rock and jazz, Zappa, Soft Machine, Stravinsky, political commitment and subversive humour.
