This release includes two complete consecutive 1962 masterpieces by the great Dexter Gordon: Go! (BST84112), and A Swingin” Affair (Blue Note BST84133). Both albums were made in the course of the same week and with the exact same quartet, which consisted of Sonny Clark on piano, Butch Warren on bass, and Billy Higgins on drums. Gordon wouldn”t record another session with this same formation.
