Back when the boys of ”Berta Epple” were still performing as ”Tango Five” they already had the dream to record a Christmas album. ”Berta Epple” finally realized that dream and leaves the listener with a sparkling and swinging Christmas experience. Berta Epple present themselves in angel-like wardrobe, however they keep their usual archly image. The sound can be described as a fusion of traditional Bavarian Andachtsjodler and soulful grooves. Jazz-ballads interact with expressive English anthems. The language varies between German and English and even occasionally ”schwäbisch” (a German dialect spoken around the Stuttgart area).
